Why replace Poly B?

The biggest risk is often the leak you cannot see.

Homes built from the late 1970s through the mid-1990s may contain grey polybutylene supply piping. Years of chlorinated water, heat and pressure cycling can weaken the material from the inside out—without an obvious warning at the surface.

When a fitting fails behind a wall or above a finished ceiling, damage can spread before the leak is discovered. Some insurers also surcharge, restrict or decline coverage for homes that still contain Poly B. Proactive replacement helps protect the home itself and can remove an obstacle when arranging insurance or preparing to sell.

Common reasons homeowners act now

Poly B does not need to be actively leaking to justify an assessment.

The Flex Plumbing promise

Respect for your home is part of the job.

Peace of mind comes from more than new pipe. It comes from knowing the home you handed us will be treated thoughtfully at every stage.

Floors and belongings protected

Runners and drop sheets go down first. Furniture and belongings are moved or covered before tools come out.

Dust contained at the source

We work to keep dust localized instead of allowing it to travel through your living space.

Small, patch-ready openings

Every access cut is deliberate, straight and limited to what the new plumbing route requires.

Cleanup at the end of every day

We leave the work area orderly each day, restore water the same evening wherever possible and complete a final walkthrough with you.
